Richardson, their course tutor, to go

on a visit to Manchester Museum on

Wednesday 23rd April and Liverpool

World Museum on Thursday 24th

April.

They have been researching

information about the museums’

of their findings and written articles

give them the chance to see the

objects close up and discover even

more information about the topic area

they have chosen to research.

They will be taking photos of their

visit, including a mystery stowaway,

which will be added to the display

board.

Welcome to the 1st edition of “The Word”, a Skills for Life magazine

produced half termly to keep you informed of what is happening around the

Well done and thank you to all staff and students

who took part in this years Comic Relief fun.

Skills for Life held a quiz with a literary theme.

The winners are Alex Brown (ICT BND YR2), Liam

Wiggins and Tom—Ben Shoah (BND PUBLIC SER-

VICES), and they received vouchers.

Special mention goes to Kath Redmond who joined her link area, Construction and Engineering, in their fundraising events. She spent the day in stocks having wet sponges thrown at her.
