ApproachProgram youth are equipped with problem solving skills and coping techniques to assist them when they encounter adulthood-related issues. The program provides workshops related to:

• Communication/active listening• Problem solving/conflict resolution• Self-esteem• Parenting• Education/employment• Life/readiness skills coaching

As a result of the Life Skills program, over 85% of youth have increased their overall well-being, over 80% have reported increased support from their family and community, and over 75% have increased independent adult-living permanency.

CoursesSkills for LifeThis 60-hour course offers practical strategies that address family, education, employment, community and leisure.

Skills for AngerThis 12-hour course offers practical strategies that address conflict resolution and focuses on communication skills.

Career TrackThis 20-hour course offers practical strategies that address employment and educational goals.
