Schmitz Cargobull sets new standards for trailer testing. The technical standard of our testing processes is oriented on the testing standards of tractor and passenger vehicle manufacturers. The state-of-the-art road simulator at the CVCAltenberge is capable of reproducing the entire life cycle of a tipper trailer within only a few weeks. Cargobull Telematics with TrailerConnect meets the increasing demands of a modern trailer telematics system. We can develop telematics systems and services for you irrespective of the make of your trailer. Based on diverse telematics applications for the monitoring of the trailer and load, such as position, course of the route, arrival and departure times, temperatures, maintenance data etc., you are comprehensively kept up-to-date and in real time on the current status of your trailer.
With the position service you can simplify dispatch management and with the technology data service you implement the demand-oriented trailer maintenance. With temperature you can indisputably monitor the seamless refrigeration process and control the refrigeration unit. For the safety of the freight you can, if desired, have monitoring through a monitoring centre. In addition, with the up-to-date summaries on trailer use you have the basis of data for efficient fleet management.
Everything at a glance: You receive clear summaries and documentation in the TrailerConnect portal or, for large, mixed fleets in a comprehensive portal, such as TelematicOne. The S.KI LIGHT does not sacrifice body stability in favour of light-weight design. The robust aluminium box bodies with 40 mm thick walls are constructed using high-strength 3.5 mm profiles and can also be equipped with wear plates when

required. The weight-optimised steel chassis are designed for constant heavy loading.Nevertheless, the S.KI LIGHT does not weigh any more than a comparable vehicle with an aluminium chassis.

Body heating: The heat from the tractor's exhaust heats the lower lip of the tipper body.
The plastic coating protects against wear, offers good slippage and prevents freezing.
Wear plates optimise the durability of the rear part of the body.
Clamping chains between the upper edges. The optional roof profile bows prevent water from collecting on the tarpaulin which can then trickle into the cargo or freeze.
The Body Details.
We equip the body of your S.KI LIGHT to your specifications. The thickness of the side walls and the floor along the rear-wall configuration can all be customised to match the vehicles field of application. Areas of the wall and floor subjected to especially high wear can also be protected with wear plates.

Sliding floor trailers represent a high-performance alternative for goods transport for the agricultural, wood and recycling industries: Unload low-density goods via the rear door in controlled amounts with the moving wall. 21 hydraulic sliding elements move the bulk or packaged goods forwards or backwards in order to efficiently load and unload pallets, sacks, roles or bails. The rollup tarpauling opens up the roof of the entire length of the cargo area.

Depending on the transport task: The 21 hydraulically activated aluminium floor profiles are available in 6mm and 10 mm wall thicknesses and the front covers in plastic or aluminium.
The Sliding Floor.
The floor profiles slide underneath the load in one direction in three intervals, a third at a time.
Then all of the profiles move in the opposite direc-tion together with the load. Then the procedure begins all over again.
This enables you to move loads forwards and backwards inside the vehicle, controlled, rapidly and gently.
