How to Enroll
This course is suitable for executives and middle managers seeking a proper under-standing in the fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma, including process owners and executives/managers with an experience in quality management tools and techniques.
The programme proposed is a Lean Six Sigma training which follows an Explain-Practice-Apply-Review learning cycle consisting of a three-day training session. The training can be break down in a shorter duration over 4 phases. With the project the trainee can apply, practice and review the methods and tools learned in the instructional sessions.

Profile of Expected Participants
This programme will be held at Chennai Centre of IIM Trichy. This programme is non- residential in nature, spread over three days . Participants must report at the venue of the programme on 24th October 2017 by 9.00 am for registration.
Professor Ayon Chakraborty obtained his doctorate from Industrial and Systems Engineering Department, National University of Singapore after completing his masters in Manufacturing System from BITS, Pilani with distinction. He is also a quali-fied Six Sigma Green Belt. He is currently Associate Professor in the Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques area at IIM Trichy. Previously he was Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Services Science Discipline, Information Systems School at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia
Prof. Chakraborty has more than ten years of experience in teaching business students and executives at various institutes such as Queensland University of Technology, James Cook University Australia (Singapore Campus). He has handled core MBA courses on service quality management, project management, quality planning and management and quantitative techniques. As a researcher, Prof. Chakraborty has worked closely with public sector organizations in Singapore and with Suncorp, Infosys Australia, and Queensland government.
