SIP ,Placement and Industry Interface of DMS

Summer Internship and placement is an important part of our MBA Programme. Our

internship Project process is designed to create live exposure of corporates in which interns

are working have to have with employees oriented towards functions of the companies or

cooperatives and conducting research on the assigned problems. We have faculty and

corporate mentors for each intern and we focus on learning knowledge, skill and attitude in

transforming interns into corporate citizens. AMUL, AXIS Bank, Digirise,Kotak Mahindra

Bank, Netafim have given opportunity for SIP in 2016.

Like SIP, we help the students in getting Final Placement. We train the students on

enhancing employability. We organised Pre Placement Talk and Campus Recruitment of

IFFCO TOKIO,Just Dial,Kotak Mahindra Bank,JR Financial Limited, IIFL, Ujjivan and

ICICI Bank. Landmark Group, Oman ,IFFCO TOKIO,ICICI Bank,Axis

Bank,Justdial,AMUL,HDFC Bank,Reliance Life Insurance,ICICI Prudential Life

Insurance,Yes Bank,eClerx are a few of proud recruiters.

We also give opportunity to our students to organise VISION an intercollegiate annual

event.They get a platform to align entire concepts of management at VISION. We organised

VISION 2015 on 23rd

October,2016.We have regular session on English Communication by

Expert Visiting Faculty.Dr. Nishikant Bohar,HOD-DMS conducted training session on

expectation management, interviewing skills and banking and insurance industry. We

successfully organised INCONRIT2016 on Capacity Building-Controllable and

Uncontrollable factors. We are practicing Active Learning Model focusing more on learning

aspects of students.We started Industry Institute Cell under the guidance of Dr. Nishikant

Bohra-HOD DMS. Ms. Tarana Agrawal,AMUL,Pune and Mr. R Sonanawane,AMUL,Pune

organised internship session for AMUL Interns.Our students participated RBI Seminar in

Satara.

We have signed MoU with Regenesys Business School, South Africa, ARGUCOM,

Sivasagar and Ghali College for students and faculty exchange. RBI, Tata Motors and Infosys

have trained our students during industrial visits.

Pre Conference Workshop was organised on 12th

Feb, 2016.250 participants were

participated. Participants were from industry, academics and students. The workshop was

inaugurated by Dr. B S Sawant, Chapter Chairman, AMMI and Director, KBPIMSR, Satara.

The resource persons were Mr. S. A. Kumbhar, Acting President, Yog Vidyadham, Islampur,

Swamiji Chitprakanandaji Saraswati, Coordinator of 8 Chhatralayas in Maharashtra

&Karnataka, Prof. Neeraj Gupta Professor,Dept. of Architecture, CURAJ, Dr. Dinesh Kamat

Dean, Jaysingpur Medical College, Dr. Rahul More, Consulting Psychiatrist, Manotej

Hospital, and Dr. Ms. Vinita Agarwal, Professor, AMITY University Rajasthan (Jaipur).We

organised cultural programme at Bahe in the evening.

Akhilesh Mishra,Vice President ,IFFCO TOKIO were also present on the inaugural function

of INCONRIT 2016. Ms. Shivani Shinde Nadhe, Chief of Bureau, Business Standard, Pune,

Er. Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi,Director,VAMNICOM and Dr. S. S. Mahajan, HOD, Commerce

& Management, SUK were resource persons for different session on Capacity building. We

received research papers from International and National participants.250 participants were

participated. Participants were from industry, academics and Students.

Mr. Yogesh Upadhyay,ISTD National President was the chief guest for 3rd

day

ofINCONRIT 2016.He highlighted on Importance of Training in Organizational Capacity

Enhancement in his presentation.Mr. Vikas Shirodhkar, Director at Basil HR Advisory

Services and Mr. Vinayak Ghag,Consulting Expert and Management Educator were resource

persons for 3rd

day of conference.
