1. Blood Donation Camp 2013

Sinhgad Institute of Management and Computer Application (MCA),

had arranged a “Blood Donation Camp” on Saturday, 3rd August 2013

with the cooperation of Smt. KashibaiNavale General Hospital Blood

Bank, Narhe, Pune

This Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Deokar, CEO,

Narhe Technical Campus and Dr. ShivajiMundhe Director SIMCA-

MCA in the presence of faculty and students.

It began at around 9:30 am and continued up to 3 pm, with a steady

stream of donors throughout. Donors were provided with glucose

water and food including biscuits, tea as refreshment. It was nice to

see overwhelmed response from the donors than expectations.



2. Orphanage Home Visit 2013


had arranged a visit to an Orphanage Home at “AplaGhar, Warje” on

Saturday, 17th August 2013.

The visit was scheduled at 4 pm to 5 pm. The faculty Members,

students visited the Orphanage and met the children. Late Vaibhav

Phalnilikar Memorial Foundation is running this orphanage home

which provides education, food, shelter and homely environment to

the orphan children.

It provides shelter, food and education to economically backward

parent-less children, who are housed at two locations, Warje and

Donje.



3. Organ Donation Awareness Program 2016

Sinhgad Institute of Management and Computer Application (SIMCA),

had arranged

“Organ Donation Awareness Rally” on 31st August 2016.This rally is

organized to generate and motivate people about organ donation to

save needy people life. MCA and MBA students has taken initiative in

this rally.



4. Traffic Awareness Campaign 2016

Sinhgad Institute of Management and Computer Application, has organized

“Traffic Awareness Campaign” on 6Th October 2016 in association

with Pune City Traffic Police

It was to create awareness of obeying traffic rules and wearing.



5. Youth Rally Carnival (Pune Youth festival-Jatan by PMC)

Sinhgad Institutes has been awarded the Third prize in Youth Rally

Carnival (Pune Youth festival-Jatan by PMC)

This event highlighted the cultural diversity that exists amongst the

youth and the colleges within Pune, itself. The theme chosen was

symbolic Pune’s culture and how to save environment and also how

unity exists amongst diversity. The rally began at FC Road at 3:30 pm

and went on for about two hours till Shaniwarwada Fort, where a

cultural competition was organized. Sinhgad Institute of management

and computer application (SIMCA), Narhe had put on a show with

enthusiastically participated.

SIMCA represented Maharashtra and specially pune Famous

personalities or role model like Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Bajirao

peshve ,Mastani, Bajirao’s wife Kashibai peshve and also display

nature save and water save posters. There were also approx. 113

students from SIMCA taking part in the rally. These students were

color coordinated and dressed in pheta (Pagadi).



6. Matoshree Vrudhashram Visit 2017


had arranged a visit to Matoshree Vrudhashram.The visit was

scheduled at 3 pm to 5 pm. The faculty Members, students visited

MATOSHREE OLD AGE HOME ". A social organization named Raja Shri

Shivrai Pratishthan started an Old Age Home in the name of

"Matoshree", in recognition with Government of Maharashtra in the

year 1999. It is Located in scenic place in Karvenagar, on the bank of

river Mutha.
