SYNOPSIS (THIS OUTLINES THE FLOW OF THE PARTY EVENTS). The most highly anticipated VIP party in Las Vegas is almost here! The Cosmo Casino
& Resort is set to host a world class soiree for celebrities, news media, and a few Vegas locals that were lucky enough to score tickets. Some of the most prominent
figures of our time will be in attendance, and this will be a night to remember. However, there is a situation. The city of Las Vegas has been terrorized by a serial
killer with an MO of attending VIP events held on the strip. The killer, known as the Sin City Slayer, chooses victims from unsuspecting party guests. The Las Vegas police are
currently working with federal agencies to catch this deranged predator.

GAME STRUCTURE: the game is organized into four rounds and is structured as follows: OPTIONAL PRE-GAME STARTER: these optional pre-game tasks are to be delivered to each guest before the party, or give them to the guests as they arrive. All pre-game materials are optional. They are intended to enhance the build up for the event. These tasks are not vital to solving the mystery. Also, encourage your guests to view the Your Mystery Party guest pre-game website to get them excited about your game (this is highly encouraged). ROUND ONE: Deliver the round one clue card envelopes as your guests arrive. It is optional to serve cocktails for adults and appetizers. ROUND TWO: Deliver the round two clue card envelopes. It is optional to break for dinner either before or after this round. SOLUTION ROUND THREE: Deliver the round three solutions. It is optional to serve coffee/hot cocoa and dessert.

Example Timeline 7:00 PM: Guests arrive. Take guest photos and serve refreshments. Have the invited guest list available for the guests to view as they trickle into the party. Once everybody has arrived, snap a group photo! 7:10 PM: The host goes over the guest instructions for the mystery game. It is optional to have each character stand up and introduce themselves to the group. You can play the game trailer video for an introduction. 7:20 PM: The round one clue cards are handed out, and the game begins. The guests mingle and discuss the clues on their clue cards. Motives will start to unfold during this round. 7:50 PM: An optional bonus game is played. 8:05 PM: An optional dinner is served. Snacks can be served throughout the party instead. 8:35 PM: The round two envelopes are handed out, and the guests mingle about with their pre-murder clues. 9:00 PM: The victim is revealed, and the investigation of the crime begins. The mystery investigation sheets are handed out, and the guests interrogate each other (using the post-murder clues). Each guest should interview every player in the game. 9:15 PM: The forensic report is revealed. 9:30 PM: The investigation sheets (guesses of whodunit) are turned in to the host. After the sheets are collected, the guests may take turns accusing who they believe did it. 9:45 PM: Dessert and coffee may be served at this time. The round three solutions are handed out to the guests. Each player presents their solution, and the murderer confesses at the end. Allow a few minutes for the guests to mingle at the end to discuss the mystery. 10:00 PM: Another optional bonus game may be played &/or host an optional awards ceremony! To shorten the mystery party, omit the bonus games, don’t stop for dinner, omit the accusation round, and don’t host an awards ceremony. Also, you can shorten the game even further by only having the required players read their solutions (or even just the murderer). If you wish to extend the length of the party, add more bonus games!

ROUND ONE CLUES – cut out, slip into envelopes and label with the character and round. Character S – ROUND ONE
CLUES TO REVEAL DURING THIS ROUND You’ve had the flu for the last three weeks, but haven’t
missed work – you don’t believe in missing work for being sick, but you’ve passed on the flu to many people. You are still very weak.
You recently learned how to ride a bicycle for the first time. See if others like to ride bicycles. When you get better, you are going to start riding your bike down the strip every day. You’re focusing on your health.
Character M and Character K are cousins, but they don’t get along. Find out more about this.
Recently, you were given a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend an exclusive Hollywood movie premiere of a movie that Character K starred in, Ice Cold Fangs – a movie about a vampire that was frozen in ice in the year 1132 and defrosted in modern times. You sat in front of her who spoke and kicked your seat the whole time. You snapped, threw a fit, and were escorted out of the theater like a common criminal.
You think Character B is despicable. You’ve never gotten along. She is a terrible reporter!
PERSONAL CLUES TO CONCEAL You want to get revenge on Character K for the public
humiliation you endured by being escorted out of the movie premiere. It ended up as a story in many trash tabloids!
Each player will have a round one card in the purchased game.
Names removed to minimize spoilers.

ROUND TWO CLUES – cut out, slip into envelopes and label with the character and round.
Each player will have a round two card in the purchased game.
Names removed to minimize spoilers.
CHARACTER W - ROUND TWO Pre-Murder Clues
You cannot stand Character I. You’ve never had a customer in the BeBe Steakhouse that treated you as rudely as s/he did. S/he complained about everything – just to complain! You think that s/he has a social issue and doesn’t know how to get long in society.
Talk to Character G about what happened to him/her at the movie premiere of Ice Cold Fangs. You heard drama happened.
Ask around to see if anybody believes that Character H’s family is affiliated with the mob. You are not sure if you believe that rumor.
Talk to Character B about why s/he lost the Black Tie Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament in Hollywood.
Post-Murder Evidence (Blood Type O-) You should arrange a chronological timeline to see
where everybody was at the time of the murder. You remember seeing the murder weapon at the
buffet table, but you don’t think you touched it. If there is more than one blood type found at the crime
scene, the second blood type that doesn’t match the victim may be from the murderer.
You never left the main casino, and you noticed many people coming in and out of the casino prior to the victim’s body being discovered. The killer could be one of many people.

For the order in which the characters are to read their solutions, you can view the answer key. Do not read further if you wish to keep the mystery a surprise.
Each player will have a round three solution card in the purchased game.
Names removed to minimize spoilers.
CHARACTER G – Final solution READ WHEN YOU ARE TOLD IT IS YOUR TURN
The solution will be here. The guest will read it in front of the group.
The following are to read their solutions next in this order. (Skip over those not present and go to the
next). Character B, Character I, Character L, Character W
