PortfolioBits of me
Welcome to my portfolio pages!
Here below You will find a selection of projects designed by me along my carrier so far.
Before that, a few words aboutme >
Happy fatherand husband, I am an enthusiastic creativeand rational thinker.
Passionate about design and people, I continually try to shape challenges into
meaningful experiences, with an attention to the environment.
As a curioussoul, I like to discover new things, others cultures and ways of thinking.
In 5 different countries I formed my designer experience.
Others say that I have a strong emphaticsense to connect easily with people. This
helps me during user research, when I really enjoy putting myself into othersshoes
and seeing things from their perspectives.Once practicing extremesports, today I daily face the metropolitan jungle of Brussels
and the nasty industrial area of Aalst by my loyal foldable bike.
I hope You enjoy.
Ciao

These sketches are a from a study of a lid handle with
special feature of hooking onto the vessel rim.
The aim was to envision multiple variations for aesthetics
and ergonomics reasons, keeping a minimal wall thickness
due to cost restrictions.

From the user research I noticed that people have problems in storing momentarily covers while cooking.
Covers of the Compact cookware were designed in a way to be placed upside down on a counter top (with
no risk of heat markings) and with the handles being easily accessible for grabbingthem up again.
Moreover the special design makes sure that they can be storedcompactly when not in use.
