The UV Enhanced Low Profile Silicon Photodetector (10-UVSI) is a large 10mm x 10mm area UV enhanced Si photodiode housed in a low profile detector housing.
The 10-UVSI provides NIST traceable power measurements across the 200nm to 1100nm spectral region. It is operated in photovoltaic (unbiased) mode to provide the lowest noise in DC and low frequency opera on since it avoids the electron shot noise associated with bias currents.
The housing provides #4-40 and M4 threads for post mounted applica ons, but also includes an SM1 thread for compa bility with many standard op cal components or mounts. Its low profile (11mm thick) is perfect for ght spaces.
All detectors are calibrated following protocols outlined by NIST publica on SP250-41-08 for spectral response transfer and are supplied with a NIST traceable calibra on report. The report details individual measured spectral responsivity and its uncertainty along all NIST traceability informa on. Detectors are BNC terminated, but an op onal Newport power meter compa ble DB15 connector is available.
To maintain accuracy and guarantee performance, ICC recommends annual photodiode detector recalibra on.

The Large Area Ge Photodetector (05GE) features a 5mm diameter ac ve area germanium photodiode housed in a low profile detector housing and provides NIST traceable power measurements across the 800nm to 1800nm spectral region. It is operated in photovoltaic (unbiased) mode to provide the lowest noise in DC and low frequency opera on since it avoids the electron shot noise associated with bias currents.
The housing has both #4-40 and M4 threads for post mounted applica ons as well as an internal SM1 thread for compa bility with many standard op cal components or mounts. Its low profile (11mm thick) is perfect for ght spaces.
All detectors are calibrated following protocols outlined by NIST publica on SP250-41-08 for spectral response transfer and are supplied with a NIST traceable calibra on report.
