SIKKY BMW E30 HYROBOOSTER DELETE
INSTALLATION GUIDE
*Please read the full guide before beginning. This is a very technical
install and only a skilled mechanic should be handling the job*
1- Remove the stock booster, master cylinder, linkage to pedal, and
pedal from bracket.
2- Install the booster delete bracket to the firewall using the 3
supplied bolts and 4 flange nuts.
3- Bolt on the master cylinder without the reservoir using the
supplied bolts and washers.
4- Attach the master cylinder reservoir and then clamp on the
reservoir hose.
5- Using the supplied braided line and fittings run the shorter line
from the front port on the master cylinder to the front port on the
ABS pump.
6- Now using the supplied longer line with fittings run it from the
back port on the master cylinder to the back port on the ABS
pump.
7- Install the high pressure hard line onto the pump. Orient as
shown.
8- Install the high pressure line onto the hard line.
9- Install the supplied rack fittings and o-rings as shown.
10- Install lines onto the power steering rack. High pressure on
top and the low pressure on the bottom.
11- Install the low pressure line onto the reservoir. Trim to fit if
needed.
PEDAL INSTALLATION
(This can be done before or after installing the booster delete)
1- Now you need to remove the pedal assembly. Start by first
removing the pedal spring.
2- Next remove the pedal bolt. When doing this slide it just far
enough to remove the brake pedal, do NOT completely remove.
3- Remove these pieces from the pedal assembly.
4- Pre-assemble your new Sikky supplied pedal using the parts you
removed from the factory pedal. Be careful not to damage the
bushing and sleeve when installing into the new pedal
5- Screw the push rod in as far as it will go.
6- Reinstall your brake pedal. When doing this you’ll want to hold
the clutch and brake pedal at the same time and push the long
bolt back through. You can take a bolt through the opposite side
to help align the pedals while you push the needed long bolt all
the way though. While doing this make sure the push rod is going
into the master cylinder.
7- Tighten the nut onto the bolt.
8- Reinstall the pedal spring.
9- Bleed system and check for leaks. Adjust your pedal height by
turning the push rod on/off the clevis that is attached to your
pedal. Ensure that there is about a ½” of free play until the brakes
start working. Once pedal height is correct tighten the lock nut on
the pushrod against the clevis. Enjoy!
