BIRTH OF KHALSA Khalsa first began when Guru Gobind Singh called for five blessed ones and baptised them and then got the five blessed ones to baptise him in return. From that time onwards, he named the five blessed ones as Singh and upon being baptised also changed his name from Gobind Rai to Gobind Singh. THIS WAS THE BIRTH OF KHALSA!
