İtalya doğumlu Marco Schiavo , Avellino Konservatuvarından mezun olmuştur.Çok iyi öğretmenlerle çalışmış ve ilk uluslararası kariyer konserlerini 1992 de Moskova ve St. Petersburg da vermiştir.Bu parlak ve çok başarılı konserlerin ardından dünya çapında birçok büyük şehirler ve salonlarda konserler vermek , Radyo, CD ve DVD kayıtları yapmak üzere davetler almıştır. Halen Messina ve Bari konservatuvarlarında dersler veren M. Schiavo Japonya, ABD ve Avustralya da “ Masterclass “ lar vermektedir.

Sergio Marchegiani and Marco Schiavo studied with great musicians such as Ilonka Deckers Küszler, Alexander Lonquich, Bruno Canino, Franco Scala, Aldo Ciccolini and Sergei Dorenski. Italian born pianist Marco Schiavo studied at the Conservatory of Avellino where he graduated magna cum laude. He has had many notable teachers and gave his international debut in 1992 with two concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg. During his brilliant concert career he has been invited to perform by prestigious institutions, worldwide, in major cities such as Rome, Milan (Sala Verdi), Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Prague (Rudolfinum) Tokyo, Sydney (Opera House), Dubai, New York (Carnegie Hall), Buenos Aires (Teatro Colon), Vienna (Musikverein and Konzerthaus) and beyond. He has played with notable orchestras such as the Russian Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of Estado de México, The Colorado Symphony Orchestra, The New York Simphonic Orchestra, Budapest Symphony Orchestra and many others. His concerts have been broadcast internationally in Spain, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy and beyond and he has recorded several CD’s and DVD. A new CD with Brahms’s complete Hungarian Dances will be released soon. Born in Alessandria, Mr. Marchegiani began his piano studies at age 5 and performed his first solo recital when he was 10. He studied with Giuseppe Binasco (who trained under Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli and Alfred Cortot guidance), Ilonka Deckers Küszler (great Hungarian piano teacher coming directly from Franz Liszt pianistic school), the Polish pianist Marian Mika (coming from Paderewski pianistic school), Alexander Lonquich and Bruno Canino. Currently he teaches piano at “A. Vivaldi” Conservatory in Alessandria; he is in frequent demand for master classes, lectures and piano competition adjudication all over the world.
