What are retransmission royalties worth?

A program retransmitted in Australia receives between $14 to $276 per hour.

Factors influencing that range include the:

– time of day the program is broadcast

– channel the program is broadcast on

– extent to which that channel is retransmitted throughout Australia

Australian Educational communication royalties

“communicate" the copy of the program from television or radio in Australia.

Australian Retransmission royalties retransmit the program in Australia

New Zealand Educational copying royalties copy the program from television or radio in New Zealand.

New Zealand Educational communication royalties

“communicate" the copy of the program from television or radio in New Zealand.

International Retransmission royalties retransmit the film in the relevant territory.

International Private Copying royalties (or blank tape levy)
