§ Establish a core enterprise architecture and roadmap (driven by IT, usually not all SAP), allow for specific solutions where there is a business case

§ After recent executive management changes, SAP seems to be re-focusing on their core strengths: An integrated set of core enterprise solutions and packaged applications

§ The dust is settling: Essential components are there to stay: SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAC, DWC (likely), Data Intelligence and will be used by SAP as part of their standard application development.
