Head of Sixth FormWelcome from the

I have been teaching at Shebbear College for a number of years, during which time I have been Head of Boys’ Boarding and Housemaster of Pollard House, where the boys live. I am also Head of Rugby and teach Physical Education, Business Studies and BTEC Sport. I live on campus with my wife Hayley and our two children, William and Heidi.

I previously taught at Brockenhurst Sixth Form College in Hampshire and Brunel University in London.

My primary role here at Shebbear is to support the students both academically and pastorally. I am fortunate to work alongside an excellent Upper School

team including two deputies that oversee our Careers and UCAS Programme and manage academic development respectfully. In addition to the support we can offer, your son or daughter will have a tutor who is the main point of contact during their time at Shebbear.

Beyond the classroom students have access to a range of opportunities including charity work and various exchange programmes. In school, they will have the opportunity to be involved in an extensive sporting, music, drama and outward bounds programme, as well as regular debating and social activities in school.
