Set Up Big DataManagement - Single View From The MDM Hub

THE PROBLEMTHE SOLUTION

The largest technology company in the world, well-known for its SCM and E-commerce innovations, was using outdated mainframe-based customer repository and wanted it to be replaced with a robust master data management solutions and integrate the same with sales, client, and service hub systems.

The client was struggling with the analysis of data and transformations requests.

The master data was skewed due to a variety of data sources, and not having a uniform data submission format from retailers.

THE OUTCOMES

The solution was an impetus in providing a dashboard to view data quality reports and data change metrices in real-time. This helped in providing a single view of orders, service history, quotes, opportunities, and campaigns to customer records through reference keys from the MDM hub. Additionally, MIT supported the client with the creation of a customer 360 dashboard as a shared service that is embedded in SFDC and integrated with their existing applications. As a result of which, relevant and valuable information gets delivered to all customers at relevant events and touchpoints. The solution also ensured the availability of pertinent information universally to populate in all communications.

Our solution also ensured the successful streaming of webchats and e-mail onto HDFS and managed data lake for trusted use in ad-hoc Big Data analytics and visualization tools. This resulted in exceptional customer experience on all channels and devices. Alongside this, successfully implemented a contextual matching use case when a reference key was not available in the MDM hub for a seamless data search.
