STREAM 1

Jurassic Pros: Taking on the digital eraDR MICHAEL LEWIS

What if your current treatment approach already works? What if you are scared that taking on something new will reduce your already excellent, predictable quality? These are the questions all clinicians wrestle with before incorporating a digital workflow into their practice.

This lecture will look at the current capabilities of digital dentistry and the varying degrees with which it can be incorporated into our practice - from completely replacing impression materials to augmenting a conventional approach.

STREAM 2

Innovations in Cone Beam and CT Imaging DR RAAHIB DUDHIA

Diagnostic imaging is an important part of any dental examination prior to treatment planning and newer CBCT and CT techniques can improve diagnosis and clinical outcomes for patients with simple and complex dental disease.

Improvements in image quality, coupled with reduction of radiation doses and increased speed of acquisition opens up a new world of diagnostics in even the most challenging patients. Integration with optical impressions combined with the use of milling and 3D printing open up new opportunities to collaborate with colleagues no matter where in the world they might be.

In this session we will explore the latest imaging technology and how it integrates into daily dental practice. The use of imaging in a telehealth environment and to engage with specialists in a safe and efficient manner will also be discussed, along with future innovations in diagnostic imaging.
