VAMPing Ground
Would you like to get the VAMPtv crew to your school? To do this you need to write a pitch to impress the VAMP production team that your school will be the right one to come and film at! A pitch is a piece of writing or talking that makes the puts forward your opinion or idea. It will make the audience believe your opinion. In this case, the purpose of the pitch is to bring the VAMPtv team to your school. A good pitch will quickly and briefly introduce the school and community and summarize the points about the school/community that you feel will make it attractive to VAMPtv producers (and audience). In writing, this could also be called a “persuasive text’ – a piece of writing that sets out to persuade someone, to make them believe what you say is right!
