Personal story What I like most about my community is that it has a pool and more places where you could ride your bike. Before I came to Canada I lived in the Bahamas and it was horrible there. There practically no sidewalks. But now in the summer I can go biking safely and alone. Thank. I love Leduc We are called trailer trash but that isn't true. Everyone I live is nice and kind to each other. What I like about my community is when I first moved there neighbours invited us over for dinner and I immediately made friends. One problem is our park, though. It is old and falling apart. Other than that it is pretty peaceful. What I like about our community in Leduc is that there are many recreational things and sites. I used to live in England. I immigrated from England when I was 6; now I am 12. I have two brothers. I moved to Edmonton when I was 6 and a half and I moved to Leduc when I was 11 and a half. I now live in Lakesides Estates. My Nanny and Grandad come to see us every year we have been in Canada. I like the walk areas in the summer with my Mom Dad or brother. What I like most about the community is how nice people are and there is not a lot of graffiti. Leduc rocks. Leduc is the best. What I dislike in our classroom is that we are homeroomed in the computer lab and it is crowded. I like all the friendly people in Leduc.



I would like most to have a big water park because more people would have a place to go in the summer or when visitors come. I like that my community is small but has everything you need. I like the shopping malls and restaurants. My favourite mall is Wal-Mart. My favourite restaurant in Cosmos. There is also a lot of oil industries. I love this community because I was born here. There is tons of people. There is also great health care. That is why I like this community!! Thanks for letting me do this survey. I like that you can go for a walk without being scared. Not really, it is kind of private. What I like most about Leduc is that people are so nice. They are so nice and generous. They are always there for you when you need it. I love our town very much. I like our icerinks, they are warm, safe and there is two of them. I used to figureskate at Black Gold. I loved it! I like the size of Wal-Mart and I love the new stores they're building around there. But maybe they could have made a huge mall if they didn't make those houses or little stores around there. They could have just added on to Wal-Mart. In my opinion but I like having the dollar stores and that close by. But I live kind of far from any of those stores and maybe we could build something there. Black Gold, Alex Pool, hockey rink and Fred Johns Park When I was little and we moved here I went to my first parade and everyone there was welcoming. I like almost everything about Leduc except the fact that the bridge part is growing leaving a lot of teens wandering around attacking everything in site so I can't go outside. Leduc Minor Hockey; I love it. I go there everyday of the week. I came into the community for my Dad. When I came the community and my school were very welcoming. I like my community because it is small. And that there is a hockey arena so we can play hockey. And that it is easy to make friends. That there are good soccer fields so you could play soccer by yourselfor on a soccer team. And that there are good schools in Leduc and places to shop. There is lots of things I like about Leduc. One thing is that they are building a new swimming pool (indoor). I also like Leduc because it has lots of grocery stores so my Mom doesn't have to drive to Edmonton. The nice things about Leduc is the nice hockey arenas and other buildings. And the Leduc Common is really nice. The schools are really fun too. Leduc has been my faveroute place to live so far. But I think taxes should be less expensive. And Leduc has really good mayors and alderman. I like the law enforcement because it is easy to follow the law. The parks, because they are fun so the list is : law, parks, friends; school. Basically the reaons I love Leduc is because Leduc is really nice and pretty. I like the swimming pool because it is good for your health and fun at the same time. I can not wait til the open the new part of the Black Gold. I also like the skateboard park. I really like the size and how they are going to make it. I also like the beauty that is in Leduc, like the gardens, main street and sidewalks. I like Leduc because there are a lot of things to do like swimming, skating and biking. I like the way that there is not very much creim and I think it is pretty friendly town. I wish there were less taxes and less homeless people. I like the way that everyone gets $400 before Christmas [prosperity cheques]. I wish more people would become the same religion in Leduc. The Leduc community is an awesome place for shopping and enjoying your time with friends. Leduc offers many resources for food, accessories et. I always enjoy shopping in Leduc because they offer many things. They also offer many activities. This gives me and others, things to enjoy on days that there is no school. Thank-you municipal government. One day me and my family were going to Burger King. And my Mom said my Dad that there was a no-smoking sign. My Dad told us that now there was no smoking in restaurants. I was so glad to hear that. I love Leduc for the stores and their low prices. My favourite store is EB games. I also like my school for the Christian background. Once of my personal stories is when I was on a soccer team then I got to play with a lot of nice girls. And the school here is really nice. What I like about my community is the size. I like how small it is and how you can know people almost everywhere you go. I also enjoy it because my parents can feel safe about letting me and my friends go places. I hope Leduc doesn't get too much bigger because I love the size of it. I also like the outdoor pool because I can go there and spend lot's of time outside doing something I enjoy. I also like everything I enjoy. I also like everything Leduc has to offer and all the fun stuff they let people have access to.



In Millet that one of our neighbours help us some stuff and we should their driveway and look after their dog Maddie. I like our community because it's not too big and not too small. Also, we have some good stores. We have some really good grocery stores. The only thing I like about my school is that it's out of Leduc and we have four huge fields and we play out front and not in the back.
