MEETING PURPOSE

Thank you for joining us and participating in this community discussion.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about service changes that will be effective on Monday, September 5, 2016.

MEETING POLICIES

Be considerate of meeting attendees and COTA staff – please silence cell phones and other technology

When it is your turn to make a comment or ask a question, please remain at your seat and we will call on you

Ask one question at a time so the appropriate COTA staff member may address your comment

Comments and questions are limited to two (2) minutes per person

Participants are encouraged to complete comment cards

COTA modifies service three times per year – the first Monday of:

LINE NUMBER CHANGE: NIGHT OWL

Like the CBUS and AirConnect, the Night Owl will be listed by its name without a number.

The number “21” will no longer be associated with the Night Owl. The number will instead be used for the new line 21 Hilliard-Rome.

NEW SERVICE: 21 HILLIARD ROME

Goals: • Link westside Columbus,

Hilliard, Tuttle Mall, Hollywood Casino and Carriage Place Shopping Center

• Provide new connections to existing COTA service

Frequency: 60 minutes

Span of service: 5:54am-9:35pm, 7 days a week

Connections: Lines 3, 5, 6, 10, 18, 53, 57, 58, 59, 61, 68, 84, 118

New Line 21 Hilliard Rome

Alignment: West/south direction: Carriage Place Shopping Center (intersection of Pickforde Dr. and Gardenia Dr.) • West on Bethel Rd. continuing on Hayden Rd.

and Hayden Run Rd. • North on Frantz Rd.• West on Tuttle Crossing Blvd. (via Tuttle Mall)• South on Britton Pkwy.• West on Cemetery Rd.• South on Main St. continuing on Hilliard Rome

TEMPORARY ROUTE CHANGE: 81 HUDSON/OHIO SOUTHBOUND

Goal: Due to construction along Joyce Ave. between Kenmore Rd. and Maloney Park, southbound line 81 will be rerouted to Cleveland Ave.

Temporary Reroute: Heading west on Hudson St. • Continue west on Hudson St.

(instead of south on Joyce Ave.)• South on Cleveland Ave.• East on 17th Ave. • South on Joyce Ave.Continue normal alignment

Goal: Due to construction at the intersection of Gantz Rd. and Brookham Dr., line 65 will be rerouted to McDowell Rd. and Southwest Blvd.

Goal: Due to construction of new customer amenities and bus terminal expansion at the Easton Transit Center, the stop for lines 16 & 92 will be temporarily relocated

Temporary Stops:• Lines 16 & 92 –

Transit Dr.

All other lines will continue to stop in the Easton Transit Center

TEMPORARY REROUTE: 38 EASTON & 40 NEW ALBANY INT’L BUSINESS PARK

Goal: Due to construction of new customer amenities and bus terminal expansion at the Easton Transit Center, line 38 & line 40 will be temporarily rerouted in Easton area All current stops will continue to be served, minor time adjustments made in schedule

Temporary Reroute:Buses traveling south on Stelzer Rd. from Sunbury Rd. will travel:- East and south on Transit Dr.- West on Morse Rd.- North on Stelzer Rd.- East into Easton Transit Center
