Blue Coast Records and Art Lande (Grammy-nominated jazz pianist) have teamed up to release this extraordinary collection of classic songs and original pieces. The quiet, subtle nature of the recording is a masterful example of key control and pedaling of which every pianist will want to take note. Performed on an 1885 Steinway without the use of studio enhancements like equalization, compression or reverb, the recordings are sought after by audiophile manu- facturers to demonstrate their gear. The sound is clear and immedi- ate, yet, could put a baby to sleep.

Art Lande is no stranger to recording having released on ECM and Windham Hill, and performed with artists such as Charlie Haden, Woody Shaw, Jan Garbarek, Paul McCandless, Joe Henderson and Nguyen Le. He tours the world in various ensembles under his own name and as a popular sideman.

Produced and engineered by Cookie Marenco (Windham Hill, Charlie Haden, Alex DeGrassi, Tony Furtado, Rob Ickes) and Jean Claude Reynaud (owner of JMR speakers), the sound is achieved using a proprietary recording technique developed for Blue Coast Records called Extended Sound Environment (E.S.E.).

While She Sleeps was recorded to analog multitrack tape, mixed to both analog 1/2" tape and Direct Stream Digital (DSD). To preserve the quality of the recording, compression was not used on the CD Master. Her most recent releases the breathtaking and critically acclaimed “In The Garden” charted on the Billboard New Age albums chart for 5 weeks peaking at #3 and won the coveted ZMR vocal album of the year and 2 Global Peace song Awards for her song of unity "We Are One". Seay's Breathtaking Seasonal album A Winter's Blessing "The Gift" A celestial seasonal collection has been named a top 5 album of the year by Mainly piano.com with Album of the Year and Vocal Album of the Year recognitions from One World Music and the Clouzine International Music awards.

Seay has been blessed to work and perform with many gifted musicians, in film, television, advertising and as a guest artist which include Annie Lennox, Cher, Elaine Paige, Clay Walker, Crystal Gayle, Ricky Kej, Stephen Peppos. Her recent vocal work includes participation on the world music project "Shanti Samsara" launching the United Nations COP21 Climate Change conference in Paris produced by Ricky Kej. One of the special honors of her musical career has been performing a benefit concert of the songs of Oscar Winning Lyricists Alan And Marilyn Bergman, with the Bergmans in attendance.

Seay is also visual artist. Her artwork can be found in private collections and her exhibit "The Power of Sound" has been seen on ABC Lifetime channel and in venues which include The Songwriters Guild and Universal Music.

Seay is a voting member of The Grammys, a SESAC affiliated writer, a Music Ambassador for Project Peace On Earth and a CARE Artist on the Care Channel.
