BULLETIN
RAY’S REMARKS: The Lord blessed us all with another great weekend. It was so
wonderful to have some of our brothers and sisters back with us who have
been out for a while due to health issues. It was so good to see Maegan
and Marge at services. Also, brother Leroy continues to improve from his
knee surgery. As well, Laurie Slider is still recovering well from her
severed finger and it is looking like she might even be able to keep it. Let’s
continue to pray for them and others who have special needs.
We learned today that sister Myrna went to the hospital and that
they put her in ICU. She has been struggling a lot with her health lately.
Let’s keep her in our prayers. We will give you further updates on her
condition as we get the information.
Well, our fall meeting is now set for October. We had to move our
previously scheduled date a week back to accommodate the speaker’s
schedule. Our meeting will now be October 15-18, 2017. We are excited
this year to have brother Kendall Fox with us. He is the preacher at
Pacifica, Missouri and is a very good speaker and very faithful man of
God. We are going to have a great opportunity to grow as Christians. I
hope you all will mark your calendars and invite others to be a part of our
Fall meeting.
I was able to talk with brother Williams in Ghana the other day.
Everything is going really well with the school. They are still very happy
and encouraged from having Dad and Mom there for several weeks. I
know that the work in Zambia and Uganda are going well also. We are so
blessed to have a part in these good works. Let’s continue to pray for them
all as we do the work of the Lord throughout Africa.
Finally, I look forward to seeing you all tonight for services. Our mid-
week gathering is a great opportunity to find encouragement and strength
to push on through the rest of the week. I hope you will take advantage of
this wonderful privilege of service to God. May God bless us all as we
strive to do His Will and as we obey all of His precepts.

ELDER’S CORNER:
Many of our number are dealing with serious
health problems. What a joy to have Meagan and
her family with us Sunday morning for worship.
Continue to remember Meagan in your daily
prayers. She will be going to her doctor this week
for a report on what treatments will be given to
assist her in her recovery. Sister Myrna Schmiser
has been admitted to Mercy ICU #6111 to be
treated for dehydration and a severe
infection. She is on a ventilator now. We are happy
that brother Leroy Hathcock is recovering from
his recent knee replacement. Many others need
our prayers, cards and visits.
All men are invited to our Men's breakfast this
coming Saturday morning at 8:00. Hope to see you
there. We have a great time of fellowship and
spiritual enrichment.
Remember our upcoming meeting with brother
Kendall Fox October 15th - 18th. Brother Fox
preaches for the church in Pacific, Missouri. He is
a very enthusiastic preacher and will deliver God's
message to us all in a challenging way.
SPECIAL NOTICE: We have noticed that
some are bringing drinks and food into our classes
and worship services. We would like to request
that no food or drinks be brought into our
assemblies where we study God's Word or during
our worship periods. This would include adults,
young adults and children. This would exclude
those who have medical problems and who might
need nourishment and babies or very young
children. Thank you for honoring this request.
Hope to see you all at all our Bible Studies and
Worship periods!

Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and powerful,
and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and
spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the
heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to
the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
