What is a Bundle?
PeopleSoft delivers application software packages called “bundles” four times per year (quarterly). A bundle release contains four elements:
New software features
Capability enhancements
Fixes for known issues
Regulatory compliance items
Delivery
• Sequential application on an ongoing basis• Implement new functionality to meet immediate needs• Institutions no longer have to rely on costly, disruptive major
upgrades• CDM customers must be on the same software release• All updates must be applied in sequential order• Bundle 37 is a prerequisite for Bundle 38

Campus Solutions will be up to date on releases, features, and enhanced capabilities 64 various software fixes corrected across the modules
Financial Aid will be within regulatory compliance
Campus Solutions will be ready for the application of Bundle 38

PeopleSoft will continue to deliver software updates each quarter
Enterprise Applications will continue to install the bundles
End users will participate in the Bundle install projects to ensure the software fixes and new capabilities meet LSC standards and business processes

Planned 2015-2016 Aid Year Updates for Pell Schedules• On January 29, 2015, the US Department of Education (ED) published the Regular Payment and
Disbursement schedules [Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) GEN-15-02] for determining Federal Pell Grant awards for the 2015-2016 Aid Year; July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016, which was posted on February 11, 2015. We plan to post this regulatory update in Additional Features Q2 2015.
Planned 2015-2016 Verification Updates Post Campus Solutions 9.0 Bundle #36• The ability to apply aid year 2015-2016 tax data to ISIR and changes to the Tax, Credits, and Payments
page.• Subsequent changes to Tax, Credits, and Payments to identify and use the correct Income Tax Amount
required by FAFSA.

If a student or parent has an IRS Request Flag value of “02”, meaning the IRS data was transferred from the IRS and was not changed by the user prior to submission of an application or correction, then the following message appears at the bottom of the FAA Information, Household Info, and Tax Form Data pages: “One or more IRS Request values equals 02. Performing Get Fed Data is optional. You may enter information directly in the component. Updating IRS AGI data elements required for Verification may result in an AGI no longer supported by the information retrieved from the IRS.”.

Entering Tax, Credits, and PaymentsBundle 37Documentation Only Update-Updated Description of this section
Tax Credits and Payments allows entry of pertinent data from forms 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ. It captures Line xx Income Tax Amount and uses that value to update U.S. Tax Paid on the Tax Form Data entry page for use in the compare process. Other fields used in compare available in Tax, Credits, and Payments are Schedule A itemized Deductions (1040 only), Education Credits, Additional Medicare Form 8959, Earned Income Credit, and Additional Child Tax Credit.
