Col Rajkumar Gahlawat: Chief Advisor • Raj is a physical security expert, experienced at the conventional methods of the Indian Army and the unconventional ways of the Corporate World such as Pulse Reading and Crowd Control involving trade unions, factory workers on strike, customers under protest and villagers threatening to go on rampage.

• He joined NDA in 1982 and was selected to join the prestigious Sikh Regiment in 1986. He has successfully dealt with Terrorism in Punjab, Insurgency in North East (Manipur n Nagaland) and Militancy in Srinagar (JnK), where he was awarded the Shaurya Chakra by the President of India in 1994. He took voluntary retirement from the Army in 2008 and did his PGDBA from MDI Gurgaon.

• For next 10 years, he worked 'on role' of following companies: a) G4s Security: 2008- 09. b) Escorts Ltd: 2009- 11. c) Maruti Suzuki: 2011- 2013.

Shaurya Gahlawat: Director• Shaurya has been 'Head Girl' of Blue Bells School Gurgaon, twice Winner of International Commerce Olympiad and the Best NCC Cadet at the National Integration Camp.

• A National level debater, she was the President of Hansraj College Society while pursuing BCom (Hons). She worked full- time for 4 years and gained a strong background in marketing, e-commerce and HR management before realising her dream and founded Sentrino.

• In her early twenties, she attained a double major in Digital Marketing (MICA, Ahmedabad) and Leadership & Change Mgmt (XLRI, Jamshedpur). A patriot at heart, she aims to help people and organisations feel safe & secure through Sentrino.

FACTORY/PLANT SECURITY

A factory or a manufacturing plant like Maruti Manesar which is spread over 600 Acres and includes 15- 16 other JV companies, will need time tested processes to ensure proper access control, In/ Out of material and a control room to record n monitor various activities. The guards have to be thoroughly briefed and made familiar with their routine n activities. Pulse reading may be one of their most important activities since they are keeping everything under watch 24 hrs.

RESIDENTIAL SECURITY

Our manpower is familiar with the process that EmaarMGF follows right from the time of taking over the possession of Land site, providing protection during the construction of its boundary wall and ensuring prevention of theft during finishing and subsequently handing over to the FMS team. The processes evolved are customer friendly, thereby encouraging the residents to follow them.

The environment in hospital is very different from various other places and the area has to be divided into various zones to regulate entry/ exit of patients, hospital staff, contractors, visitors etc.

SECURITY OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The campus areas require a unique balance to ensure a smooth entry to the visitors. The access control n the reception areas need to be managed well to maintain proper records. The front areas normally experience traffic jams due to random parking by the visitors and should be managed by the patrolling guards.

The customers need to be pampered is not complete unless they are provided a safe n secure environment. The Taj Mumbai incident has left a lot to be desired to ensure safety of the customers as also the hotel staff. We specialise in ensuring a round the clock ring of physical n electronic security measures to cater to the vulnerability faced by the hotels which are frequented by a large number of guests. We understand the dynamics of the typical requirements to balance out a friendly yet safe environment.

The compound should be classified as:

Free access zone- open to all like common areas, waiting area, parking lot, canteen etc.

Restricted zone- open to staff but visitors allowed only with passes like lifts, wards, mortuary etc.

Prohibited Zone- only the staff on duty may be allowed like ICU, operations theatre etc.

• Supervision: right from the time the guards are deployed, we keep supervision in mind and have a proper hierarchy like Security Guard/ Head guard/ Supervisor/ Inspector/ Security Officer/ Assignment Manager etc depending upon the size of deployment.

• Patrolling- a detailed patrolling programme is designed n put in place.

VIP SECURITY

It's a very specialised form of protection cover wherein a person has to be closely guarded without hampering his Independence and day to day activities. The PSO needs to be well trained and extremely vigilant to gaze various kinds of threats and initiate counter measures on the spot. We have the experience of training and employing over a hundred of them in Maruti which resulted in smooth functioning and protection of the human resource.

These areas may appear well protected but the threat always is very high around them as any minor incident would attract lot of media n international attention. With that in view, one needs to be highly proactive to ward off any attempt by the intruders to thwart of their aim.
