It isintended for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) applicationsrequiring low-cost, accurate, real-timemoisture measurement.

Improves OEM Product PerformanceThe Moisture Target Series 5 can significantly enhance the performanceof OEM products by allowing closed-loop control of moisture. For example,in a regenerative dryer application it canimprove efficiency by initiating desiccantbed regeneration when needed, ratherthan on an open-loop timed cycle.

Panel-Mount VersionThe panel-mount version of theMoisture Target Series 5 comes in acompact DIN standard meter housingfor applications where space is at a

premium. The case slides directly intothe panel cutout, and is held in placefrom the rear by captive screws.

PC-Board VersionThe Moisture Target Series 5 is alsoavailable in PC-board form for completeproduct design flexibility. The board istypically installed inside the cover of aproduct enclosure or cabinet, with theLCD and keypad visible through cutoutsin the cabinet door.

Uses M Series ProbesBoth versions of the Moisture TargetSeries 5 use GE Panametrics M Series aluminum oxide moisture sensor probes.M Series probes are rugged and accuratetrue absolute humidity sensors withcalibration traceable to the NationalInstitute of Standards and Technology(NIST). Exceptional dynamic range,speed of response and calibration stability have made the M Series probethe standard for performance andvalue in industrial moisture measure-ment for more than 40 years.

Microprocessor-Based ElectronicsThe microprocessor-based MoistureTarget Series 5 accurately tracks fast-changing process conditions and displaysdew/frost point temperature in °C or°F on a six-digit LCD. Dew/frost pointis also available as an analog voltage orcurrent output, and the Moisture TargetSeries 5 features built-in isolation toensure the integrity of signals to remotedevices. The unit also features twooptional Form C alarm relays for highand low dew/frost point limits. Forapplications in Division 2 hazardousareas, hermetically sealed relays areavailable.
