Program costs: All activities are $2.00 per class with these exceptions ¨Stained Glass $5.00 + material costs (first timers $5 activity fee + $10 project fee) ¨Line Dancing $4.00 ¨Gentle Yoga $3.00 per class ¨Pickelball $3.00 ¨Walking Club - no charge ¨Chair Yoga $3.00 for non Y member ¨Watercolor $13.00 ($5.00 activity fee, $8.00 instruction) ¨Bible Study $26.00/session 1(includes activity fees and materials) ¨10 participants per activity/program. (15 for line dancing) ¨4 maximum for billiards. ¨All participants must preregister for classes by phone or online.

¨Sign up a minimum of 2 days in advance. ¨Classes will be offered on a first register, first reserve basis. ¨Participants can only participate in one class per day so our programs can reach more people. ¨If a participant registers after the limit is met, that person will get first priority for the next time that activity is held. ¨Social distancing of 6 feet between participants (per floor signage) required.

The Thompson Center on Lourdes (TCoL) is concerned about the transmission of COVID-19. Although TCoL has taken steps to increase sanitation and distance be-tween visitors during this pandemic, there is still a risk of contracting this disease in any public setting. By visiting TCoL and participating in activities you are assuming that risk. Mary Cooke currently provides administrative support and works on the Buzz at the Thompson Center on Lourdes. Prior to that she worked at the College Avenue location. She is passionate about working with seniors and being part of something greater. Mary knows first hand how important the Thompson Center was to her mother, Margaret Gauerke, and other family members, and her involvement with TCoL often brings many happy memories.

Mary lives in Appleton with her daughter, son-in-law and three granddaughters. She loves cooking, baking and sewing (NOT MENDING) for the family. During the recent school shut-down she had to learn how to teach using virtual lessons, and her seven year old granddaughter laughingly gave her a thumbs down for her efforts. (It’s still a mystery to her why it now takes three plus steps to solve a simple addition/subtraction problem - must be a generational thing!) To have a place like TCoL to go to and meet others in the same age group and with similar interests is priceless!

Easter Seals Wisconsin provides programs to individuals with disabilities and their families. There is a regional office in Appleton located at the Thompson Center on Lourdes that serves individuals living in Outagamie County. Call Jill Gretzinger at (920) 832-0344. Office is open by appointment only.

The Office for the Blind and Visually Impaired (Jean Kenevan) will not have office hours at the Thompson Center on Lourdes just yet. Information and training is still available though. Jean is happy to help
