    REFITTING

    I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATIONa parts always to be replaced: Door sealing film

    (60,03,02,10).

    Note:

    If the mastic bead offers too much resistance,use a hot air gun set to approximately 100C andheld approximately 20 cm away from the doorsealing film to ease its removal.

    Note:

    Remove the adhesive residue from the door boxsection by applying wide masking tape over thebonding area. Pull gently on the masking tape toremove any adhesive residue.Clean the door box section using a LINT-FREECLOTH soaked in HEPTANE (see Vehicle:Parts and consumables for the repair) (04B,Consumables - Products).

    WARNING

    To ensure that the door sealing film adheres cor-rectly:- The door must be clean (free of dust, grease

    and anti-adhesive products), with no trace ofimpurities and no condensation,

    - The door box section where the door sealingfilm is applied must be painted completely,

    - There must be a minimum temperature of 15on the surfaces which are to be bonded.

    a Remove the paper protecting the door sealing filmmastic bead.

    a Offer up the door sealing film without forcing it,bringing it into contact with the areas shown (18) .

    a Position the door sealing film correctly around theoutside edge without applying any pressure.

    a Firmly attach the door sealing film around its entireedge.

    Front door

    a Remove the paper protecting the door sealing filmmastic bead.

    a Offer up the door sealing film without forcing it,bringing it into contact with the areas shown (19) .

    a Insert the interior opening release cable at (20) ,while holding the gaiter inside out on the passengercompartment side.

    a Offer up the sealing film on the door box section.a Remove the lower protection from the sealing film

    adhesive bead.a Index the lower part of the sealing film (21) and (22) .a Remove the protection from the gaiter of the interior

    opening control at (20) a Position the gaiter on the interior opening release

    cable.a Press the bonding areas on the interior opening re-

    lease cable.a Remove the upper protection of the sealing film ad-

    hesive bead.

    a Push down the top section of the sealing film.a Press the bonding area of the sealing film.

    Rear door - lower sealing film

    a Remove the paper protecting the lower door sealingfilm mastic bead.

    a Offer up the door sealing film without forcing it,bringing it into contact with the areas shown (23) .

    with the rear upper section (4) .a Refit the front side door pillar exterior trim (see Front

    side door pillar exterior trim: Removal - Refit-ting) (55A, Exterior equipment).

    a Fit the front side door window channel centre section(3) , front section (2) and rear section (1) .

    a Pass the (Car. 1363) along the whole length of thefront side door glass run channel.

    II - FINAL OPERATIONa Refit:

    - the front side door sliding window (see Front sidedoor sliding window: Removal - Refitting) (54A,Windows),

    II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

    a Carefully remove the front side door exterior weath-erstrip using the (Car. 1363) in the order shown (1) ,(2) and (3) (take care not to deform the part).

    REFITTING

    I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

    a Refit the front side door exterior weatherstrip, start-ing with the rear section (8) .

    a Check that the front side exterior door weatherstripis correctly aligned.

    II - FINAL OPERATIONa Carry out a function test.a Fit the front side door sliding window.

    Special tooling required

    Car. 1363 Set of tr im removal levers.

    Note:

    Handle the front side door exterior weatherstripcarefully, as any deformation will damage it.In case of storage before refitting, secure the frontside door exterior weatherstrip on a rigid piece ofcardboard using masking tape.

    III - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNEDa Refit the rear side exterior door weatherstrip.a Check that the rear side exterior door weatherstrip is

    correctly aligned.

    window" assembly.

    REFITTING
