University of New Haven Soundview Hall West Haven, CT

The new, five-story, 400-bed apartment-style, 128,000 SF residence hall is the new "front door" to the University. Building was completed in 2009 with a construction cost of $38.0M and re-ceived LEED Gold Certification.

Clarkson University Quad Residence Halls

Potsdam, NY Renovations and a one-story, pitched roof vertical addition to each of four similar residence halls (before and after pictured above). The existing 1950’s buildings are reinforced concrete construc-tion with masonry exterior walls. The total area of new construction is 20,000 SF. Project was com-pleted in 2009 with a construction cost of $6.2M. Seeking LEED Silver Certification.

Amherst College James and Stearns Halls

Amherst, MA The two new, similar, four-story residence halls have an overall floor area of 62,000 SF, and house a total of 170 beds. Composite structural steel/concrete slab on deck floor construction, structural steel/steel deck roof construction. The buildings were completed in 2005 with a con-struction cost of $16.5M.
