DESCRIPTION

STONEMATS are individually crafted on the rugged west coast of the South Island of New Zealand. These special stones travel a long way from the rivers of the Southern Alps to the Tasman sea. Waves, wind and tide regularly uncover small pockets of stone near the town of Hokitika. Here on this specific beach the stoneweavers are fortunate to have consent to harvest the stone for their beautiful mats. Designed by: Ray and Colleen, NZ

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:Your stonemat should last long and give you years of enjoyment. To clean, lay on a flat surface and run lukewarm water containing mild soap over the mat. Scrub with a soft brush, rinse and lay flat to dry.

Do not use hot water as it will soften the glue. In the event of a stone becoming loose, it may be attached with an outdoor weatherproof adhesive such as Araldite.
