Show OverviewOne Show, Maximum Benefts: SecuTech Expo 2009

SecuTech Expo 2009 was the largest show in its 12-year history. The show had more than

700 exhibitors and increased net foor space by 7 percent to 15,000 square meters. It was held

at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang or the rst time, rom April 22 to 24.

The show eatured a range o themed pavilions,

including CCTV/Digital Surveillance; Access Control/

Biometrics; Intrusion Alarm; Integrated Solutions;

China and Korea. Four new pavilions were added,

including Key Components; Residential Security;

Network & Communication and Security Services &

Guarding. The pavilions allowed security proessionals

to identiy mutual growth opportunities and develop a

competitive edge.

Exhibitors at SecuTech Expo 2009 came rom 20

countries worldwide. Their oerings were diverse,

including surveillance, access control and alarm solutions.Attendance reached 22,252 visitors, who could choose rom 94 dierent seminars and

orums. SecuTech Expo 2009 included electronic security, inormation security and re saety.

The annual Global Digital Surveillance Forum Asia ocused on IP & Intelligence Future

Landscape o Surveillance, encompassing nine seminars rom global international players such

as Panasonic System Solutions and Axis Communications.

The show was international in scope, making it an added attraction.

The rst CompoSec the only international expo or components in security technologies

and applications was held concurrently with SecuTech. CompoSec completes the security

supply chain, covering a spectrum o key components ranging rom chipsets and modules to

subsystems and embedded sotware.

A&S Group President and SecuTech Organizer Parson Lee said, This years SecuTech Expo

not only highlights quality products or sourcing, but extracts the most important components

and parts that determine the uture development o security at CompoSec.

SecuTech Expo 2009 welcomed visitors rom all corners o the globe. Despite the economic

downturn, 22,252 visitors packed the foors throughout the three-day event. Attendance was up aremarkable 10% compared to 2008, with 2,545 international visitors making their way to Taipei.

As the largest international security exhibition in Asia, SecuTech Expo 2009 oered a

comprehensive platorm that went beyond product sourcing and networking. Targeted seminars

and conerences updated security proessionals on developments in digital surveillance,

component technology and home automation.

Ive been invited to many security shows all over the world, but

SecuTech is the best o all.
