JUNCTION BOXES

At the intersection of SD-50 & US-18, junction boxes JL3- JL5 will be placed to intercept the existing 2” conduit. The conduit shall be exposed and modified to properly enter the new junction box.SHOP DRAWING AND CATALOG CUTS SUBMITTALS

The Contractor will submit shop drawings and catalog cuts in accordance with Section 985 of the Specifications. All costs associated with exposing the existing conduit, modifying the existing

At the intersection of SD-50 & US-18, the Contractor shall coordinate with Charles Mix Electric to disconnect the existing meter and electrical service and connect to the new meter and service as shown on these plans. All costs associated with the disconnection and installation shall be incidental to the contract unit price for “Electrical Service Cabinet.”

REMOVE LUMINAIRE POLE FOOTING

The footing of existing luminaire pole EL1 will be removed by the Contractor to a minimum of 3’ below the ground surface. Restoration of the disturbed area will be to the satisfaction of the Engineer.
