DESCRIPTION
This year's event will feature a presentation on Long Island bats by Ron Gelardi of the New York DEC. As usual, the Benefit will also include a variety of beer by a dozen of the region's best local craft breweries, food from Islip's Evergreen Catering and live music by The Decoys!The event will include craft-brewed beer by: Blind Bat, Bluepoint, Brooklyn, Dogfish Head, Fire Island, John Harvards, Saint James, Spider Bite, and Southampton, as well as The Brewers Collective and Hoptron Brewtique! Thanks to all for their generous participation!The Bats & Brews Benefit will also include a special "Hoppy Hour" Reception from 6 to 7 p.m. This private VIP reception will feature an intimate presentation and beer tasting with brewmasters Paul Dlugokenky from Blind Bat Brewery and Larry Goldstein from Spider Bite Brewing, beer-friendly appetizers and reserved seating.
