The Dutch company from Tolbert in the Netherlands exists 35 years, 35 years of expertise in ergonomic seating. This new catalogue illustrates the constant renewal Score is continuously going through. On one hand the product developers are constantly designing new products and new product features, where in the design we strive to Cradle-to-Cradle principles, to assure our children a better World, and on the other hand the automation of Score is put on a higher level by taking a new ERP system in use with a product generator to minimize faulty input, to increase the service level to you.

What’s new

New in the catalogue is that most products are equipped with a flat back bar, through which the back is more stable, and also looks a lot nicer. Of course the quality of all changes have been thoroughly tested, quality stands on the first place at Score. Also new is the balance mechanism for the Jumper, Amazone and Jolly. The balance mechanism makes the already comfortable Saddle Seats even more comfortable. Also the fabrics have undergone changes in even more resistant fabrics in wool as well as Trevira.

The ample seat, the convenient footplate and the soft polyurethane upholstery ensure comfortable sitting. The seat and backrest are easy to clean and resist most chemical substances. Saddle chairsExperience the comfort of a Score saddle chair. The ergonomically shaped saddle seat ensures a healthy back posture, whilst the feet are planted firmly on the floor. The shape of the saddle promotes the natural S curve of the spinal column and thus a less tiring posture. The saddle chair makes it possible to easily move sideways and around your workplace. The Score saddle chair comes in two different forms. The “Jumper” has a wider seat and the “Amazone” a narrower seat. It is also possible to provide the Jumper, Amazone and Jolly with a “Balance” mechanism as accessory. This sophisticated mechanism moves the seat in the direction of the centre of gravity of the user’s upper body when changing posture. The pelvis and the spinal column stay in balance, and pressure points such as the inside of the thighs and the pubic bone are relieved of pressure. In order to work comfortably and without strain, your sit stand stool should be adjusted to the desired working height. Medical LineThe Score Medical Line is specially developed for use in hospitals, outpatient clinics, doctor or physiotherapy practices, etc. The Medical Line is usually equipped with special arm and back rests. All models can be provided with a foot-controlled height adjustment for situations where the hands have to be kept free for sterility reasons. For the upholstery you can choose e.g. Stamskin with its antibacterial properties; it is watertight, urine proof, resistant to flame. The 6200 range has a round 40 cm seat, while the 6300 range has an ergoshape seat with cut-outs which allow you to reduce pressure points on the upper legs.

Medical LineFor people who suffer from a temporary or permanent handicap, Score developed a range of products which make it easy to continue working or start working again. For example, there are height and adjustable-angle leg supports, for 1 or 2 legs. Patients suffering from hip arthrosis are compelled to do complicated exercises on a daily basis in order to stimulate the blood circulation in the hip joint. The ergonomically shaped Artromove gives patients the possibility to fit these exercises easily into their daily life. For people with a rigid leg or a leg length difference, the Artrodese chair can be a solution. Both leg supports can be separately adjusted at an angle which reduces the pressure on the back of the thigh. For people with problems with muscle tension or who need extra stability, Score developed the Triple chassis. Its H-shaped frame is applicable to most of the chair models. The Triple chassis is provided with large wheels and a central brake. Score also has a sturdy and easy adjustable phlebotomy chair with 1 fixed, inclined armrest in its assortment.

MediMove Standard

As the chair is extremely flexible and easy to adjust, the MediMove® is also suitable for use as an examination or phlebotomy chair. Patients no longer need to be transferred to another chair or bed. The ergonomic design of the MediMove® ensures that the doctor or nurse can carry out a task quickly and proficiently. The MediMove® has a fixed seat height and is standardly equipped with an armrest, push bar, headrest and footrest. The MediMove® is also standardly fitted with a Stamskin cover K80 in light blue or K05 in black.

Blood drawing armrests

As this blood drawing armrest is extremely flexible and easy to adjust, the MediMove® is also suitable for use as a phlebotomy chair.

MediMove adjustable

The MediMove® can additionally be fitted with various options, like an independent adjustable back angle and height adjustment. This flexibility allows the chair to be adjusted precisely to the patient\’s needs. The height can be easily adjusted with a foot control on the side of the chair, lifting the patient simply to any height and transferring him/her from the chair to the bed. Stand-up function

Lifting and transferring patients is one of the most physically demanding procedures in health care. The MediMove® is fitted with a hydraulic system for tipping the seat and armrests. This reduces the nurse’s physical exertion to a minimum when lifting and transferring patients.

The central foot brake increases the safety of patients and the ease of use for the nurse.

Feeding/Mammographic chair“We have to feed some newborns at regular intervals. Especially during the night shift when fewer staff are present, I can spend a lot of time in a feeding position, and eventually I really feel it in my neck and shoulders. Developed for nursing personnel giving bottle feeds and fitted with specially designed armrests. They are easy to adjust, and can be swung aside when sitting down or standing up. As not all nurses are the same height, the chair is equipped with a telescopic height adjustment system, allowing the chair always to be positioned at the right height. The synchromechanism allows the chair to be used as a rocking chair. In addition, the chair can be fitted with a headrest, wheels that brake under load or trumpet feet.

Feeding chair Nutrimax MC

The Nutrimax MC (Mother Care) was developed for giving breastfeeding and fitted with specially designed armrests. They can be easily swung aside when sitting down or standing up. While the mother sits in the chair, the hydraulic height adjustment system can bring the chair to the desired level. This allows the nursing personnel to position the baby correctly. Fitted with moveable footrests that are easily folded up to make sitting down or standing up simple.

Mammography chair

While the patient sits in the chair, the hydraulic height adjustment system can bring the chair to the desired level. The chair is brought close to the mammography scanner and then the wheels are locked, to keep the chair in the exact position. The footrest not only offers good support, it allows the chair to be brought close to the device. The armrests can be folded away, which is particularly beneficial for wheelchair-bound patients.

Radiography chairs“As a radiodiagnostic technician, I accompany patients during an MRI scan. Sometimes it is better to stay with the patient during the procedure. As the MRI scanner contains a magnet weighing 4600 kg, I cannot sit on a chair with any magnetic parts. For the “UMC Utrecht” this was an incentive to develop a non-ferromagnetic (non-magnetic) chair and stool together with ScoreMedi. Now I can safely stay with my patient throughout the procedure.

Vario Nucleo

This is used in the nuclear medicine department, for example to make an echo of the thyroid gland. The Vario armrest allows the patient to rest his/her arm and relax while the radiopharmaceutical is injected into a blood vessel. During the scan (10 min.), the patient must keep his/her head perfectly still. The headrest has been designed so that the head fits in exactly and thus remains fixed. While the patient sits in the chair, it can be brought to the correct height with the hydraulic height adjustment system.

FootrestsYou need a footrest if you cannot place your feet flat on the floor when your upper and lower legs form a 90° angle. In some cases a footring or footplate attached to the chair will suffice. It is more convenient to use a loose footrest, which you place in front of you. Score’s “Basic 952” footrest enables a healthy sitting position. The height of the footrest can be adjusted by foot from a sitting position. That is why these footrests are recommended above all others by ergonomists and work place advisors. All “Basic footrests” are available in an “ESD version”. In combination with an ESD safe chair, you can be sure that accumulated static electricity is not discharged through you but through the ESD safe chair or footrest. Cleanroom LineWhen working in a cleanroom, it is of the utmost importance to have and keep the room free of dust particles. Score chairs have been tested by the Fraunhofer Institute and comply with the directive DIN EN ISO 14644_1, ISO class 4 (Class 10 according to the US Federal Standard 209E).
