Tentative policy:

Unofficial visit date should be placed in theprospect’s ACS profile before:

• The visit; and

• Any communication with the prospect occurs.



• Make all calls through ACS app and add a note that itwas for an unofficial visit.

• Only use the exception to text/email/call an underageprospective student-athlete if you are reasonablyconfident he or she will be at ASU the next day (or thatsame day) for an unofficial visit.

When you use the exception (text or call a prospect whootherwise would not be able to receive thatcommunication), and the prospect does not visit, you mustnotify the Compliance Office in writing with:

• The prospect’s name,

• Date of intended visit, and

• Reason for not visiting.

RARA – TIME MANAGEMENTG EN ERAL IN FORM AT ION

• A required athletically related activity is any activity that has anyrelation to student-athletes participation in athletics that is required.

• RARAs include:– Practice (CARA)– Strength and conditioning (CARA)– Film review (CARA)– Community service– Athletically related travel– Team-building activities– Student host duties– Media activities– Etc.

RARA – TIME MANAGEMENTG EN ERAL IN FORM AT ION

• General rule: RARAs cannot occur on off days. So off days are trulyoff for student-athletes, except for:– Rehab and other medically related activities– Study tables and other academic requirements from OSAD– Multi-sport life skills events– SAAC

• RARA calendars must be provided to student-athletes as determinedin TMP policy.

• Changes or additions to RARA calendars must be provided tostudent-athletes as determined in TMP policy (e.g., 24 hours).
