Associates Program ObjectivesProfessional Development• Learn about issues in our industry and hear real world tips and

techniques from peers, coaches, and instructors• Perform practical, interactive exercises based on both Government and

industry culture• Develop soft skills necessary to advance more rapidly in our industry• Introduce and develop understanding of effective leadership Coaching• Provide insight and knowledge from Government and industry essential

to students • Accelerate professional and personal growth, build confidence and

discover solutions to challengesCollaboration• Experience ACT IAC collaboration through classes, volunteer events,

Coaches’ RolesHead Coach• Provides overall structure for

the Associates program to include recommendations on leadership and associates selection, curriculum, extracurricular events, volunteerism, orientation and graduation, mentoring and working directly with the ACT-IAC executive leadership, assistant coaches, and staff to keep the program on track. Head coaches are present and available to the coaching staff and Associates.

Assistant Coach• Provides structure for the

Associates/Maniples and works directly with the Associates to provide guidance, experience, and mentoring at an introductory level. Supports the head coaches with creating a challenging curriculum and class development. Assistant coaches are present and actively engaged with the Associates.

Coaches’ Roles Community Coach

• Provides a structure and opportunities for volunteerism, community outreach, social events, and special projects throughout the program. Community coaches are present and engaged with head coaches, assistant coaches, and the Associates.
