Structure
Barriers to joining Links between Explorer Scouts and Scout Network Pressure to lead Cost
Limited success as County provision Successful Counties moving to District model already
Little appetite for a UK only membership point Need to build on success of Explorer Scouts

What we’re doing
District Scout Network
District Scout Network
Membership is free All 18-25 year olds in Scouting in the District are Members of the
District Scout Network. They will also be Members of the UK Scout Network.
From time to time, Members may choose to not participate in Project Teams. They can participate in aspects of the Programme that can be
undertaken individually. They can participate in social activities that bring Scout Network
members together.
