Point out and name five different types of animal, insect, bird or fish that you might find near where you live. Find out about the food they eat and the places they might live. LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE Our Outdoors Challenge (for Cubs): Build a shelter big enough for two Cubs. Cook a backwoods meal. Build a bivouac and sleep in it. LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE Scout Outdoors Challenge: Provide a service commitment to the site for about an hour. Take part in a campfire or other entertainment. Working with others, successfully complete a two-hour activity or project. Cook a backwoods meal with the group. Build a bivouac and sleep in it. LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE Scout Expedition Challenge: Take part in either an expedition or an exploration over two days with at least three other Scouts. This should include a night away at a campsite or hostel. LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE Explorer Scout Survival Skills badge: Provide a service commitment to the site for about an hour. Take part in a campfire or other entertainment. Working with others, successfully complete a two-hour activity or project. Cook a backwoods meal with the group. Build a bivouac and sleep in it.
