One C•O•L•O•R•F•U•L Week at 4-H Camp This year’s camp theme was the Color Challenge. Everyone had a great week at camp, which included
daily classes, afternoon free swim, Sally Down the Alley, a camp-wide game of Capture the Flag, and a
very colorful
round of
Sadie Games.
Thank you to
all of our
wonderful
campers,
volunteers,
and parents!
We can’t wait
until next
year!
Congratulations to Rachel Stowe!
Rachel won Overall State Champion at State Fashion Revue,
held during Teen Conference at the University of Kentucky in
June. Rachel won first place with her project for the Dress
It Up category. She was also selected to serve on the 2017-
2018 State Teen Fashion Leadership Board after an interview
process. Congratulations, Rachel, on your achievements!

Urban Immersion Project: Washington, D.C.
This four-day experience combines cross-cultural learning, teamwork, and service learn-
ing in the urban environment of Washington D.C. Youth will build skills and abilities that will
prepare them for success in a diverse
workplace, and they will also build cultural
understanding of those who are different.
Youth will participate in service projects,
learn about other civic engagement oppor-
tunities, and work in groups to purchase
groceries and prepare meals for the group.
You must be 15-18 years old to
participate. If you are interested, contact
