Marco Esposito, DDS, PhDAssociate Professor in Biomaterials with the Sahlgrenska Academy at Göteborg University, Sweden. Editor in Chief of the European Journal of Oral Implantology (EJOI) and of the Rivista Italiana di Stomatologia (RIS). Associate Editor of the Cochrane Oral Health Group. President of the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRD). Marco graduated with honors in dentistry at the University of Pavia, Italy, in 1990 and was awarded a PhD in Biomaterials from the Göteborg University in 1999. He created and directed the Postgraduate Dental Specialties courses in Dental Implantology at the University of Manchester, UK (2006-2011). He is a specialist in Periodontics (UK). He authored more than 200 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters and gave more than 400 lectures and courses at national and international level. He is currently working as freelance researcher in clinical implant dentistry and periodontology.

Chiu Kuo-Cheh, DDS, MScMaster of Science in Oral Implantology, Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. Director of Chiayi We-sing Dental and Cosmetic Clinic in Taiwan. He is supervisor of the Taiwan Oral and Facial Aesthetics Association and specialist of the Taiwan Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is member of the Asian Academy of Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine and of the Chinese Society of Cosmetic Surgery and Anti-aging Medicine.

Aykut Arık, DDS Graduated in Odontology at Ankara University in 1998. He worked in oral surgery department at Ankara University till 2001. From 2009 to 2012 Dr Arik was member of the oral surgery and periodontal department at Başkent University. He has his private practice in Istanbul.

Azad Eyrumlu, DDS, MScGraduated in Goteburg, Sweden. He is the Clinical Director of Southern Dental Group which operates 85 dental practices in the UK. Dr Eyrumlu has undergone extensive postgraduate training in dental implantology and has successfully treated thousands of patients with dental implants. He has an MSc in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from Manchester University and is involved in various postgraduate implant courses as an accredited mentor. Dr Azad Eyrumlu provides training for dentists in the UK in understanding legislations, obtaining valid consent from patients and promoting advanced treatments to different patient categories, regardless of socioeconomic background.

Antonio Flichy, DDS, PhDProfessor in the Master of Oral Surgery and Implantology at the Medical and Dental School of the University of Valencia. Dr Flichy is member of the Board of SCOI (Spanish College Oral Implantologists). He has a private practice in Valencia where he is solely dedicated to oral surgery and implantology. Dr Flichy is author of several publications in peer-reviewed international journals about implantology. He lectures extensively both nationally and internationally. He is KOL of various dental implant and biomaterial companies. He is member of different scientific societies: SECIB, SEPA, SCOE, SCOI, ICOI.

Paolo Guazzi, DDSDiploma in Dental Technician at IPSIA of Reggio Emilia in 1982. Dr Paolo Guazzi graduated in Odontology at the University of Modena in 1988. He completed the Master in Implantology at the University of Milan in 1997. Dr Guazzi is author of several publications in peer-reviewed international journals about implantology. He takes part at international multicenter studies on immediate loading in implantology Dr Guazzi lectures extensively both nationally and internationally. In addition Dr Guazzi conducts advance implant and prosthesis courses in Italy.

Hassan Maghaireh, DDS, MScDr Maghaireh is the head of the scientific committee at The British Academy of Implant & restorative Dentistry (BAIRD). He completed five years training in various maxillofacial units in the UK, gaining his membership in the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh by Examination. He then gained a Clinical Master degree in Implant Dentistry from the University of Manchester winning the best clinical presentation award in 2008. Dr Maghaireh maintains a private implant referral practice in Leeds, and also acts as a mentor and honorary clinical teacher in Implantology on the University of Manchester MSc Program and a Clinical Lecturer in Implant Dentistry at University of UCLAN in Preston - UK. He is actively involved in the oral health group of the Cochrane collaboration. Dr Maghaireh is member of the editorial board for the European Journal of Oral Implantology and he is the editorial director of Smile Dental Journal. He is the clinical director of the one-year Comprehensive Clinical & Evidence Based Dental Implantology courses in Leeds-UK, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Emirates, Croatia, Jordan and Iraq.

Angelo Marangini, DDSGraduated in Odontology at the University of Naples in 1988. Specialized in Parodontology, Guided Bone Regeneration, Piezosurgery and Laser Therapy. He has a private practice in Naples where he is solely dedicated to implantology, oral surgery and laser therapy. Dr Marangini lectures extensively about implantology, laser therapy and intra-oral welding technique.

Rawad Samarani, DCD, DESDr Rawad Samarani graduated as Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998, and in 2002 he graduated in Periodontology (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures) from the Saint-Joseph University in Beirut. After graduating, he has started a private practice in Byblos-Lebanon. He is participating in several research projects and international trials on the subject of dental implants. He has co-published several papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He lectures at international courses and congresses. Since 2002, Dr Samarani is a member of the Periodontology Department of the Saint-Joseph University in Beirut where he served as a clinical instructor, assistant, and actually as a lecturer. Recently, he has obtained from the same school a Master of Research after completing an animal study on a topic related to alveolar bone grafting.

Hani Tohme, DCD, DESGraduated in Dentistry in 1995 and in Prosthodontics in 1999 with honor from Saint-Joseph University in Beirut. Private practice in Mtayleb, Lebanon. He is member of the Removable Prosthodontics Department of Saint-Joseph University since 1999, as a clinical instructor, assistant and actually as a course director, senior lecturer. Secretary of the International Society for Functional Removable Prosthetics (SIPAF). Actually he is preparing MRes and PhD in Biomaterials at Saint-Joseph University in Beirut. He lectures at international courses and congresses on topics related to prosthodontics and implantology.

Simone Vaccari, DDSDental technician diploma in 1994 and degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics with distinction in 1999 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Active member of the S.I.E (Italian Society of Endodontics). Active member of the A.I.O.M. ( Italian Academy of Microscopic Dentistry). Active member of the E.S.C.D. (European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry). Completed the Master in Fashion Photography at the John Kaverdash academy in Milan. Member of the national association of Italian photographers. Completed the Master in Photography of the Face at the professional institute of contemporary photography. Completed the Apple Certified Trainer course at the Apple Education Training Centre for the programs Keynote and Aperture 3.
