According to the Holy Quran, the Holy Scripture is God’s word and according to the Holy Quran, the Holy Scripture was distorted. Studying the Holy Scripture proves there are a lot of interpolations , deletions and changing the places of certain words. There is multitude of evidence to the change that has infested God’s word.The Holy Scripture testifies to its being corruptedIn God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. 5 Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil. Introduction

The reason for the distortion that made hole in the credibilty of the scripture could be condensed in the following points:Many changes were made to serve the false teachings of the Church (deity of Jesus, Crucifixion, and Trinity)

The long lapse of time bewteen the time these scriptures were reveald and the time these were written for the first time. Another reason is the mistranslation of the scribes; no translation would be as perfect as the genuine revelation whatever the skills of the translator might have been.

Genesis 1:3-5: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

The scientific error here is twofold. First the Bible depicts light as being created in the absence of any objects that would actually product light. Second, the Bible depicts day being separated from night without the existence of the sun, the one object which does separate day from night. .

Light Before the Creation of the Sun

Genesis 1:6-8: And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

One scientific error in Genesis is the description of a firmament dividing the waters below from the waters above. Christians have believed that this firmament in Genesis was literally a dome or bowl which separates the sky from the earth. Into this firmament Christians believed God affixed the stars, the sun, and the moon. This is a scientific error because we know that no such firmament exists.

Genesis depicts God creating plants on the third day even though the sun, which is responsible for the ability of plants to live, isn't created until the fourth day. You can't have plants without photosynthesis and you can't have photosynthesis without the sun, so the biblical account of creation contradicts what we know from science.

Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

The first book of the Bible, has an error about the safety of eating plants. According to Genesis, God provides for humans every plant for consumption. Science, however, makes it clear that some plants are poisonous and will kill us; in fact, we knew that some plants are dangerous even before science and science simply explained how and why. It's an error to claim that every plant is safe and appropriate for us to eat.


All animals are Herbivores , Scientifically Wrong Genesis 1:30: And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Genesis makes a scientific mistake about the diet of animals. According to Genesis, all animals started out as herbivores and none were carnivores or omnivores. Science teaches us that there have always been carnivores and omnivores, not just herbivores. Some animals simply can't survive without meat or blood.


Perhaps the most fundamental scientific error in Genesis, the first book of the Bible, is the time required for the creation of the universe. Genesis depicts God as requiring just six days for creating everything. Science, in contrast, has revealed to us that the universe is already more than 12 billion years old and that new celestial objects — stars, planets, solar systems, and galaxies — have been formed throughout that time. Genesis 1:31: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Unlike the Scripture, the Holy Quran assigns the Arabic word” Youm” when talking about the time of creation, this word means long period of time.
