Our charity actions

2013Last year we collected donations for MOST Association and for the thirteenth consecutive year, participated in a humanitarian action “And where are you?!.” The main goal of the campaign is to collect and help users of their program of care and concern for the homeless . Like every year, as part of the campaign we participated in a great promotional - charity flea market and sale, on December 14, where a large number of young volunteers, public figures and humanitarian organizations and associations from all over Croatia participated. We collected new and used books, comic books, monographs, DVDs, CDs, LPs, PC and PS games, souvenirs, jewelry, paintings, decorations, promotional T-shirts, bags, toys, school supplies and handicrafts.

Christmas Charity project EveryChristmas our school carries out a humanitarian action, organized by the Department of socio-humanistic studies and Social Welfare local office in Split, in which food and domestic supplies are gathered for the families in need.The same as a waterfall starts with the first drop, the action turned into a massive effort in which more than 200 kg of food and supplies were gathered and the surplus was donated to NGO MOST which cares for the homeless people of our town.The walls of our school are filled with diplomas and letters of thanks for various actions organized by previous generations and they are an obligation to this generation of teachers and pupils to keep the high standards of social responsibility within our local community. The unbelievable turn out we had from pupils, their parents and their teachers is an additional motive to persist in similar actions in future.
