From the Principal’s Desk

Run Ballarat Creswick Primary School had 45 students, staff and families involved in the Run Ballarat event. This made us the 7th highest ranking school for participants and we received a $250 Hart Sports voucher. For entering a team the school will also receive movie vouchers. The weather may have been cool and damp but the enthusiasm was high! Well done to all for getting involved in a great community cause.

## This Friday at the school assembly the prizes donated by the team at Wendouree Cotton On will be drawn.

Trivia Night – Friday 27th October, 2017

Tomorrow night the Parents’ Club will be holding a Trivia Night in the MPB. Trivia with a Twist will be hosting the night which is sure to be a lot of fun. If you would like to come along for the evening, contact Lucy Trounce on 0427115769.

Clubs

Last Friday the Grade 5/6 students started the first rotation of Clubs for the term. The many opportunities the clubs offer ensures the students have a great time – thus building confidence and positive interaction. This Friday the students will again be engaged in the Clubs program.

P/1 Pirate Tea

The children in Grades Prep and Grade One are very excited as tonight (Thursday) is their ‘Pirate Tea.’ There will be costumes, pirate food, pirate language and pirate games – so the evening will be ‘Aaarrrrggghhh – Shiver me timbers and a Yo Ho Ho for the young buccaneers.

Jogathon - Friday 17th November

This event is coming up in three weeks. Information has been sent home with students and we are looking forward to a great day where the whole school community take on the challenge of participating in two hours
