When God made the world, everything he made was good. What does this tell us   about God? (when God works it always turns out the way he’d planned)  Match the work God does with the work people do (see activity sheet).  

 Read Genesis 2:15 ( use ICB version, Bible Gateway )   

What was work like for Adam and Eve? (great, no pain, no frustration, no anger)  Work is hard because of sin. When will work stop being hard, boring, painful...?   (in God’s new heaven and earth)  What work lasts forever? (when we tell others about Jesus)

What does it mean to give God the glory? (praise God that he gave us the ability   to work, depend on God to help us work, love others while we work…)

How can you give God the glory this week? When Mum or Dad asks you to do a   job? Your teacher sets work you don’t like doing? Turn these answers into prayers.
