On the Move!

I can’t tell you how exciting it is to be a part of a

church that lives out its mission to make disciples

of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

As I was thinking about what it means to be a

to gather in, the real work of discipleship happens

in the world, outside the walls. So we must be constantly on the move

As you probably know, Vondel Stevens is in her first year of seminary at

great mission as well!

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Greetings!

I trust that you're

enjoying the warm

weather that is starting

to become more

prevalent. Youth ministry

is going very well this

semester. Attendance

has continued to be

steady and more importantly the youth have

been showing great signs of spiritual growth.

Over spring break around 30 of our youth went

up to the community of Eastridge to host a VBS

at Eastridge Baptist church. We had between

30 and 60 kids from the Eastridge community

attend everyday (cold weather played a big part

on our low days). I'm very proud of all the youth

that helped, especially because they sacrificed

their free time during spring break to serve

others. I trust that our church is equally proud

of them.

We have several other events approaching as

summer nears. Here is a list:

Lock-In-April 12th

Sr. Sunday- May 19th

End of School Party- May 29th

Camping and Rafting Trip-June 3rd-5th

Church Camps-June 17th-21st, June 24th-28th

and July 8th-12th

If you have questions or would like to sign up

your youth for any event you can contact me at

336-1699 or [email protected]. Thank

you for your prayers and support!
