Director, Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, Government of Bihar invited request of Proposals from Agencies for “Establishment of IT Education Lab for SC&ST” of the Department on a turnkey basis, wide published in various newspapers on 14th May

2015 and proposal were due for receiving up to 22nd Jun 2015 at 15:00hrs. It is hereby informed to the all potential bidders that due to some unavoidable circumstances the submission of bids/Proposals has been re‐scheduled for July 3, 2015 at 15:00 hrs

Bidder must have ISO 9001 -2008, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 certified.

We request the department to kindly remove the ISO27001 and ISO14001 certification as these are required for information security management and for environmental management systems which are not needed in such kind of requirement as the ICT infrastructure are verified and tested products from the Indian Standards.

Since department would like to maximize the participation in RFP, the department accept this request and relaxed this eligibility criteria as follows: This clause has amended as”Bidder must have ISO 9001 -2008, ISO 27001Certificate and OEM Should ISO 14001 certified.

Bidder should have executed a minimum 2 orders for supply, installation and commissioning of System Integration, and each order value of at least Rs.200 Lakhs and above for any Government Departments / Organizations / Public Sector Undertakings in India in the last 3 years.

Bidder should have executed a minimum 5 orders for commissioning of Computer Education Lab, and each order value at least 25 Lakhs and above or 2 orders for commissioning of Computer Education Labs, each valued at least 100 Lakhs and above, for any Government Education Departments / Government education institutes in India in the last 7 years.

Since department would like to maximize the participation in RFP, the department accept this request and relaxed this eligibility criteria as follows: “Bidder should have executed a minimum 5 orders for commissioning of Computer Education Lab, and each order value at least 25 Lakhs and above or 2 orders

9 XVII. Installation based Experience at page number 22 of the RFP.

Bidder should have experience commissioning of 5 Computer Education Lab, with total installation base of 200 or more Computer /Servers in LAN and above for any Government Education Departments / Government education institutes in India in the last 3 years.

IT should not be single protocol supported. As you will use Windows Operating system, if must support RDP Protocol, Benefit of RDP is Windows security never blocks its own protocol, where chances are very high to block third protocol by windows security.
