Problem Solution Wheel
The “Problem Solving Wheel” has many options the student can choose from such as, walk away
and let it go, apologize, tell them to stop, ignore it, talk it out, and wait and cool off.
Parents need to discuss the options given in the wheel with their wards (as per their child‟s level).
They will discuss that how can they choose any option and keep themselves calm when they will feel
any negative emotion such as anger, sadness, or not feeling good about anything. Parents can have
10-15 minutes per day with their ward either in morning or in evening, which is just for their ward
only (no other activity). Let your ward discuss with you what he / she is feeling and discuss the same.
