It is the intent of the technical specifications to describe the City’s requirements for one (1) New Single Axle 10’ Dump Truck Aluminum Body mounted between the cab and the box c/w Front Mounted 9’ wide snowplow for Municipal service and snow removal.

Hydraulic Package Response Requirements


7.8 Hydraulic system requires adjustable relief valves for protection of sander chain and sander spinner circuits in conjunction with main system relief valve. All relief valves are to be easy to service and access for adjustment.



7.9 Dump box hydraulic circuit requires a safety cutout switch to be proximity style cutting out hydraulic box up function once fully extended.



7.10 A Certified Power 20 gallon hydraulic tank/Valve enclosure combination mounted off the frame on the left side under the dump box. Matched to system requirements



7.11 Tank to have a low oil switch provided by Certified Power with indicator warning light on console & PTO cut out with override controls on console.



7.12 Electrical switches for front plow lights, sander spinner lights and roof strobe lights mounted in console. (Plow light switch to cancel truck headlights and allow high/low beam operation on plow lights. All wiring connection to be made and put in place at appropriate location)

7.13 Three (3) only hydraulic supplies and one (1) only return line for sander chain, spinner and pre-wet - run along truck chassis to rear for quick connect to sander body. Lines are to be seamless tubing not rubber hose & permanently identified for their use. Hydraulic lines will terminate with quick couplers placed at a 45 degree angle towards the rear apron for ease of connection
