National CRNA Week is the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists' annual celebration of anesthesia patient safety and the nation’s nearly 53,000 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and student registered nurse anesthetists who safely and cost-effectively provide more than 45 million anesthetics each year. CRNAs are master’s prepared or clinical doctorate prepared advanced practice nurses who provide anesthesia in every setting and for every type of surgery or procedure. We celebrate our CRNAs and thank them for their hard work and dedication to our patient population.

The CEO Search Committee met with the Tyler & Company representatives last week and reviewed

11 CEO candidates, of which seven were selected for Tyler & Company to interview more in-depth.

The committee was pleased with the quality of the candidates. The search firm continues to

recruit throughout the entire search and may introduce another candidate or two, should they

find additional appropriate candidates. The Search Committee will meet again in a few weeks to

determine the top four or five candidates to invite for onsite interviews with the Search Committee.
