The ceiling-hung Scala prevents sound waves to continue upwards in the room, which contributes to a more pleasant soundscape.

The wall-mounted version of Scala is available in different sizes. Portrait or landscape format, to be hung on hidden wall brackets.

Designen på ljudabsorbenten Scala är inte bara utvecklad av visuella skäl, utan främst för att bidra till ett mjukare ljudlandskap. Scala är en lekfull parafras på korrugerad plåt där formens funktionalitet nyttjas.

The design of the sound-absorbent Scala is not only developed for visual reasons, but primarily to contribute to a softer soundscape. Scala is a playful paraphrase on corrugated iron that simultaneously employs the functionality of the shape.

Modulerna är tillverkade av formpres-sat filttyg med en ljudabsorberande fyllning. Scala är 100 % återvinnings-bar, tyget är godkänt av EU Ecolabel.

The modules are made from compre-ssed felt fabric with a sound absorbing core. Scala is 100% recyclable, and the fabric is approved by EU Ecolabel.

“The inspiration comes from the many houses in Iceland, where not only the roofs, but the facades too, are covered by corrugated iron.

It gave birth to the idea of bringing it into the space.”

The ceiling-hung Scala is on request available with fire-rated filling according to standard EN13501-1 B-s1, d0 and with Crib5-treated fabric.

Includes wire kit for adjustable suspension to the fittings on backside. Available with or without integrated lighting (white or black stained ash).
