STORY OF CHANGE OF VILLAGEFATEHGARH CHANNA

The Origin

We are participating Design for change singe very inception of contest. So our stu are very ager once again for the contest this year also.

They keep on observing the village, surrounding and finding the problems and keep trying to bring the sustainable change at their own and also with help of teachers. May it be campaign against paddy and wheat husk burning or use of paper and cotton bags against non bio degradable plastic.

This time our student bring into our notice very deep rooted problem of village: solid and liquid waste spilling out on roads and creating very serious health and hygiene problems along with effecting environment adversely.

The Problem: Solid and liquid waste spilling out on roads and creating very serious health

and hygiene problems along with effecting environment

The Solution:

1. Students shared their observations in peer groups.

2. They had good amount of brainstorming upon the issue and chalked out “The Change Plan”.

3.Along with help of teacher they planned elaborated action plan for the execution of solutions and ideas.

4. A 6 day long plan was prepared.
